4. You’ve delivered, not described

The verification line is the secret weapon. It’s rare for a high-school CV to carry a verifiable credential. It signals seriousness without saying anything else.

What to talk about in interviews

Three stories carry the entire interview round. Have one polished version of each. The recruiters we work with say they’ve never seen a Blastbeat alumnus run out of stories to tell.

The crisis story

Pick the moment in your event week when something went wrong. The vendor didn’t show. The lighting broke. The headline act was late. Tell what happened, what you decided, and what the result was. Two minutes max.

The financial story

Pick a single line in your P&L where the maths nearly tipped the wrong way. Print costs, ticket-pricing, the contingency line. Tell the story of how you made the call. Numbers, not adjectives.

The team story

Pick a moment where two team members disagreed and you helped resolve it. Bonus points if you weren’t the CEO. Most interviewers haven’t had to do this until their late twenties.

The next 10 years

Three trends are bending in the same direction.

  1. Verifiable digital credentials are spreading. The EU Digital Wallet, Norwegian state diplomas, and a growing number of professional licences all use the W3C VC standard. The Blastbeat Licence rides that same standard. Read the case for it.
